Best Buy offering holiday discounts of up to $100 on iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3
If you’re looking to own or gift an iPad Air 2 or an iPad mini 3 this holiday season, you might want to buy from Best Buy right now.
As noted by AppleInsider, just over a week after its Black Friday deals, Best Buy is currently offering both of Apple’s newest tablet models at significant discounts, ranging from $50 to $100.
The iPad Air 2 is offered at $50 off regardless of storage capacity (16GB, 64GB, or 128GB) and wireless capability (Wi-Fi only or Wi-Fi + Cellular). Consequently, Apple’s flagship 9.7-inch tablet may be purchased for the following prices:
- iPad Air 2 16GB Wi-Fi only: $449.99
- iPad Air 2 16GB Wi-Fi + Cellular: $579.99
- iPad Air 2 64GB Wi-Fi only: $549.99
- iPad Air 2 64GB Wi-Fi + Cellular: $679.99
- iPad Air 2 128GB Wi-Fi only: $649.99
- iPad Air 2 128GB Wi-Fi + Cellular: $779.99
As for the iPad mini 3, regardless of wireless capability, Apple’s flagship 7.9-inch tablet is discounted by $50 for the 16GB models, $75 for the 64GB models, and $100 for the 128GB models. As a result, Best Buy has the following pricing scheme for the iPad mini 3:
- iPad mini 3 16GB Wi-Fi only: $349.99
- iPad mini 3 16GB Wi-Fi + Cellular: $479.99
- iPad mini 3 64GB Wi-Fi only: $424.99

Both the iPad Air 2 and the iPad mini 3 notably feature Apple’s Touch ID fingerprint recognition technology.
Aside from the new iPads, Best Buy is also offering discounts on the iPhone 5s and the latest MacBook Air. The iPhone 5s is available at a $50 discount for $50 on a two-year contract, with a free Belkin car and wall charger to boot. The MacBook Air is discounted by either $100 or $200, depending on the specifications.
