Ultimate Ears unveils the UE MegaBoom mobile speaker
Ultimate Ears is expanding its lineup of mobile speakers with the UE MegaBoom. Similar to UE’s first mobile speaker, the UE Boom, the next-generation MegaBoom offers 360-degree sound with heart-pounding bass. The announcement was made at the 2015 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The waterproof UE MegaBoom features a stain-resistant acoustic skin, and a grab-and-go design. The speaker weighs less than 2 pounds, features a 20-hour rechargeable battery life, and 100-foot wireless Bluetooth range.

The UE MegaBoom will be available in the United States, and in select countries in Europe and Asia later this month, at a suggested retail price of $299.99. The UE MegaBoom and UE Boom each work with the free UE Boom app.
