Launcher with Notification Center Widget gets great new features in update

Cromulent Labs has updated its flagship app, Launcher with Notification Center Widget with great new features. Since the app came out, we’ve thought it was such a great addition to the iPhone that Christine Chan said that the widget “belongs on everyone’s iDevice for one-swipe access to favorites.” The latest update also squishes some bugs, improves accessibility, and improves the speed and memory usage in the widget.

The main app launcher list has gained a search capability, and Cromulent Labs has added search and indexing to the “All Launchable Apps” list when configuring your widget. The widget now supports landscape mode on the iPad, and an option has been added to share a screenshot of your Launcher setup.

In other new features, there is now a New Message Someone option for group messages, along with canned subjects and bodies. Launchers are now more tappable in the widget, especially with the smaller sized icons you can use if you upgrade to the Pro Version of the app. Finally, Cromulent Labs has added a location button to map direction launchers, making these options even more useful than before.

Launcher is available for free on the App Store, and uses sponsored apps in the widget setup screen to monetize the app. You can also upgrade to the Pro Version for a $4.99 in-app purchase, which provides new features for your widget.
