Radar - Stay Informed lets you keep up with your contacts

Keeping up with what the important people in your life are doing can be a real challenge. Not only do you try to juggle personally talking to them, but you also want to keep up with what they’re saying and posting online. From blogs to Instagram, Twitter to Soundcloud, there are literally dozens of social networking services to try to keep track of. Radar – Stay Informed helps manage that task by bringing all of those services together for each person.

With Radar, you can connect to the various platforms you use, like email, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and more. Create or import the contacts you want to stay informed about, and you can use a single, simple, elegant feed to see when and what your friends, family members, and colleagues last posted.

The only thing that I find lacking in Radar is that, among all of the social media channels it allows you to follow, Facebook is absent. The app allows you to see posts from 11 different sources, including RSS feeds and email, but not Facebook. That seems like a major oversight to me, since Facebook is probably the single most popular social networking site there is.
