Movies by Flixster is a very popular app for checking out reviews, previews, and local show times for movies. The app has terrific features with lots of extras and was updated yesterday, June 22.

The recent update brings users performance improvements as well as bug fixes. There will be no more blank screens in the Theaters or DVD tabs, as this issue has been corrected. And, for those of you who have tried to give five stars to those awesome shows you have seen, you can now do so because that bug has been fixed as well.

Flixster DVDThe Movies by Flixster app has also been adorned with a new feature called Highest Rated Movies which is located in the actor page section. These pages are available from the Cast section of a movie. So, if you want to see what Mark Wahlberg’s other great films include or what other terrific shows Amy Poehler starred in, just take a look at this new section.
