There are a lot of ways to make a living, but I never really thought destroying a $10,000 Apple Watch would be one of them. YouTube poster TechRax, though, specializes in the senseless destruction of Apple devices of all makes and models. In the past, he has destroyed an iPhone 6 by boiling it in Coca-Cola, and demolished another one by shooting it. See what he does to an Apple Watch Edition in the video below, or click this link if the video doesn’t load.

TechRax makes his money through advertising revenues on YouTube. Google sells ads on his videos, and TechRax’s cut is anywhere from $1.46 to $3.40 per 1,000 impressions. His video boiling an iPhone 6 in Coca-Cola drew nearly 14.5 million views, leaving TechRax with at least $19,720 in revenue and as much as $49,300, according to YouTube Money Calculator.

In this latest video, TechRax has crushed the Apple Watch Edition between two neodymium magnets that have a combined force of 650 pounds. What amazes me is not so much that he did it, given TechRax’s predilection for seeing how much abuse Apple products can take. What really impresses me is that the smartwatch still charges after being pried out from between the powerful magnets.

Will the video pay off in the end? Only time will tell, but the video had garnered more than 738,000 views at the time of this writing. At Google’s top payout, that comes out to $2,509 in TechRax’s pocket.
