Check out iCloud Photo Library support in the Apple TV beta

When Cupertino released tvOS 9.2 beta 2 for the Apple TV, it added yet another feature users have been clamoring for: iCloud Photo Library support. Previously, you could only view your Photo Stream, but when tvOS 9.2 releases to the public, it should have full support for your iCloud Photo Library albums.

Let’s take a tour through the beta software, and see how comprehensive iCloud Photo Library is. Remember, this is a beta release, so you’re bound to see some features not quite working and even the odd crash here or there. If the video below fails to load, just click here.

As you can see, the support for iCloud Photo Library is nascent, but at least it’s beginning. There’s no support for slideshows or Smart Albums, and some videos fail to play. I would imagine these problems will get ironed out in future releases.
