iPhone:

Splashtop 2 Remote Desktop for iPhone & iPod – Personal ($2.99 → Free, 35.5 MB): Access your Mac or PC remotely from your iPhone or iPod touch with this business app. It’s perfect for those who want to operate and utilize computer apps and files on their iDevices.

You must first install the free companion software on your home computer. Splashtop will then be able to automatically discover and connect as long as you’re on the same Wi-Fi network. Once connected, you’ll be able to access and view files on your computer, watch videos, play games, and listen to music remotely.

Splashtop 2 Remote Desktop for iPhone & iPod – Personal is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 2432 ratings.

Universal:

PhotoWidget and Viewer ($0.99 → Free, 2.5 MB): Put your favorite photo in the Today view with PhotoWidget. It can be used in a variety of ways, so it’s for the creative types.

PhotoWidget is further proof there’s an app for everything. It provides you with the ability to place a photo or animated GIF in the Today view in Notification Center. You’re able to select as many photos as you want from your library, and you can have them randomly appear in the view or you can choose one to remain there.

Star Wars™ Pinball 4 ($1.99 → Free, 69.4 MB): Choose your side and fight to restore balance to the Force in this Star Wars-themed pinball game. It’s for fans of the Star Wars universe.

You’re able to join the Galactic Empire or the Rebel Alliance and battle with your friends for leaderboard dominance. Launch your ball onto the table by pulling back on and releasing your finger from the lightsaber. Tap each side of the screen to control your flippers. The table features multiple camera angles to choose from, and quotes and music pulled right from The Empire Strikes Back. Multiple additional themed tables are available via in-app purchase.

Star Wars™ Pinball 4 is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4-star rating with a total of 378 ratings.

Tasker: To Do List | Task Manager ($0.99 → Free, 14.2 MB): Track your projects and complete them in no time with Tasker. It provides an easy way to manage your schedule.

Tasker’s biggest asset is how customizable it is. You’re able to create tasks with colors, tags, and contexts, and categorize them however you wish. Actions allow you to link tasks to contacts, photos, maps, or URLs. Tasks can remain on their own, or they can be dumped into projects. They can also be filtered and prioritized. A Today widget allows you to quickly retrieve your tasks. If you have an Apple Watch, you’re also able to view and add tasks from your wrist.

Tasker: To Do List | Task Manager is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 25 ratings.

CarTally ($2.99 → Free, 59.6 MB): Introduce your child to basic concepts in math and science with CarTally. It’s for children ages four through eight.

CarTally will take your child on a ride from the country to the big city. Along their journey they’ll be required to count, compare, sort, and analyze a variety of cars. Each region will introduce a new and more complex concept for them to tackle, allowing you to see just how well they progress. The app is appropriate for both readers and pre-readers.

CarTally is available for free for a limited time. It has a 5-star rating with a total of 7 ratings.
