Tesla Wars ($0.99 → Free, 70.1 MB): Repel invaders without a face in Tesla Wars. It’s classic castle defense action.

Only one of Tesla’s powerful towers remain standing. You must protect it at all costs from the invading faceless swarm. Your enemies are equipped with various types of weapons and attributes, and they will approach the tower from all possible angles. Zap them where they stand by touching and holding your finger on them. You are able to spend your prize money between waves to upgrade your tower and purchase new weapons. The game contains hundreds of waves of enemies to wipe out, 17 upgrades and attacks to unlock, and achievements and leader boards via Game Center.

Universal:

Alpha Omega ($0.99 → Free, 152.3 MB): A clever crossword-style puzzle game that has you unscrambling letters. It’s ideal for word game fans who want a relaxing yet engaging experience.

The amount of content here is staggering. Alpha Omega’s hundreds of puzzles require you to unscramble the letters to create valid words. Each puzzle provides you with the first and last letters, serving as a guide. Tap on a letter block to select it and tap another to swap. Intersecting letter blocks can be moved in both directions. As each word is deciphered, the rest will begin to fall in to place. Keep in mind that letters can only be swapped once per puzzle. Additional level packs are available via in-app purchase.

Drop The Chicken 2 ($0.99 → Free, 364.9 MB): Chuck the Chicken is back and ready to go pool diving again in Drop The Chicken 2. It’s for fans of physics puzzlers who have enjoyed games like Cut the Rope.

Chuck has been captured by an evil monkey ring master. To escape from the circus, you must help Chuck perform pool diving tricks while catching bugs along the way. While Chuck is on his platform, you’re required to move a wide variety of objects to ensure he safely lands in the pool. When you believe you have everything just right, flip the switch and see how he performs. The game includes 100 puzzles, five bonus levels, and in-game helping hands.

The second has you trying to correctly solve as many problems as you can in three minutes. Both competitive modes allow you to compete with your friends, and you’ll be notified if your score is beaten. There’s also a practice mode available that’s timer-free.
