Onion Force combines the best elements of the tower defense and action genres to provide you with a rather unique experience. Before each battle you’re able to pick between three playable heroes, each with their own unique abilities. As your enemies descend upon the battlefield, tap to attack. The coins you collect can be used to erect one of eight different tower types to help defend your king. The game includes stylish cartoon graphics, 30 levels, and three difficulty settings.

Blown Away: Secret of the Wind ($1.99 → Free, 196.2 MB): Help one very unlucky creature change his fortunes in Blown Away. It’s a platformer that plays like a puzzle game.

Everything in Hendrik’s life has been blown away by the wind including his home. Help him recover the pieces and put his life back together by teleporting all around the environments. Hendrik shoes hold the power to teleport, but they need time to recharge, so you’ll have to time your taps properly. The game includes four worlds, 120 levels, and upgrades.

Camping With Grandpa ($2.99 → Free, 104.6 MB): Your little ones get to head out on a camping adventure with grandpa with this educational app. It’s designed for children ages six through eight.

Once they set out on their adventure they’ll get to read a compass, take a hike, identify animal tracks, and help animals get fed. Grandpa will guide them along the way, so you can just hand off your iDevice and let your child enjoy. The app includes seven educational mini-games, six interactive activities, and loads of fascinating videos about survival, camping, and wildlife.
