Funnel provides an overview of what’s happening all around the world. You’re able to choose from seven news sources including BBC, NPR, VOA, and CBC. Funnel will then provide you with hourly audio news summaries that can be played in the background. The app is also able to send notifications when new content is available.

Funnel is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 916 ratings.

Tower of Fortune ($0.99 → Free, 12.7 MB): A retro-style RPG with a nifty slot machine mechanic. Fans of the RPG genre who also enjoy one-button gameplay.

Play as a retired hero who is forced to draw his sword once again when his daughter is taken by an unknown power. Spin the wheel to battle opponents, earn gold, and obtain special items. The game includes 39 different enemies, 37 types of equipment, 39 combat quests, 12 tavern quests, and three different endings.

Tower of Fortune is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 3621 ratings.

Universal:

WeatherWheel: Alerts, Forecast ($1.99 → Free, 68.8 MB): Spin the wheel to see what the weather will be like with WeatherWheel. Those who want some visual feedback when checking the weather.

This is the most fun you’ll ever have with a weather forecast. Drag your finger across the screen to move through time and watch as not only the weather changes in real-time but also the sunrise, sunset, and moon phases. Tap on the play button in the top right corner to automatically play through a five-day weather forecast narrated by Siri. WeatherWheel also supports multiple locations, alerts, precipitation radar, and imperial and metric units.

WeatherWheel: Alerts, Forecast is available for free for a limited time. It has a 3.5-star rating with a total of 93 ratings.
