The whole family can join in on the fun in making Grinch-themed Christmas cards. Choose from over 20 cards based on the original artwork by Dr. Seuss. Then line your face up with the camera and shoot. You’re also able to use photos from your camera roll. Stamps can be added to help personalize the card before saving it to the camera roll or sharing it via your favorite social media network.

Universal:

Multi Translate Voice ($12.99 → Free, 36.5 MB): Translate any language into three others with Multi Translate. Those who travel a lot or are learning a new language.

Multi Translate is fast and efficient. First choose the language you want to translate from, and three other languages you want to translate to. You have more than 100 to choose from. Then either type or speak to translate. Multi Translate keeps a running history of everything you’ve translated, which is searchable via Spotlight. The app also includes iMessage support, Apple Watch support, and the ability to share results.

République ($2.99 → Free, 3.0 GB): Prepare for pure entertainment as you help a young woman named Hope escape in Republique. Problem solvers.

Take on the role of an unidentified hacker who has managed to breach the computer system of an oppressive totalitarian state. The story begins as you intercept a call by Hope pleading for any kind of assistance. Fortunately, that’s something you can offer, with eyes and ears through the surveillance cameras, partial communication and sight via mobile devices, the ability to unlock many doors, and a tiny bit of additional help from sympathetic members of the organization. However, every resource must be utilized carefully to guide Hope to freedom. The game includes high quality 3-D graphics, several prominent voice actors, loads of mini-puzzles integrated through an innovative X-ray-style scanning system, and Game Center achievements and leaderboard.

République is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 7189 ratings.

Backgammon HD ($4.99 → Free, 81.4 MB): A digital version of Backgammon from the same team that brought Gin Rummy, Cribbage, Spite and Malice, and Hearts to the App Store. Anyone looking to play a game of Backgammon while on the go.

This is our favorite version of Backgammon in the App Store due to its massive online community. It’s always more fun to play with others, right? You’re able to play turn-based or live games of Backgammon via Game Center. You can choose to play with a friend or see how your skills match up against other players all over the world. The cool part is, you don’t have to sit around and wait to be matched up. You can actually hone your skills against intelligent AI opponents in single player games while you wait for a match to be found.

Backgammon HD is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4-star rating with a total of 3937 ratings.
