Are You an Expert at Combining iPhone Apps for Specific Jobs? AppAdvice is Hiring!

If you're a passionate iPhone user who has a knack for finding the ideal suite of applications for a particular purpose, we want to hear from you.  We are currently seeking one or more individuals that have the ability to identify suites of applications that can work together to help people accomplish specific tasks.

The "AppList Writer" must not only understand the critical aspects of particular applications, but also be able to identify the best and most complimentary applications for each category.

The successful candidate for this position will also be familiar with only survey tools like SurveyMonkey and be willing and able to reach out to domain-specific authorities to interview them about what they've got on their iPhones and how the applications they've chosen help them do their work.

This is a demanding position that requires a combination of deep iPhone application expertise and the inquisitiveness and creativity to identify interesting niches and then determining the best applications to help people accomplish more with just their iPhones.

The expectation for this position is that the AppList Writer will create 2 to 3 new application lists each week and will also stay on top of changing applications so that previously created AppLists are also regularly updated to keep them current.

Authors will receive a byline for every post, a personal profile page that includes the author's photo, links to the author's own personal pages and an index of all the stories each author has written for AppAdvice.com.  You'll also get access to our immense repository of iPhone applications which means that just about any application you've ever wanted you can now have for free.  Cash compensation is dependent upon experience.

If you'd like to apply for this position, please send an email with a cover letter, your resume and at least three writing samples of work similar to what we've described above.  If you also have links to published work currently online that would be a plus.

Please send your application to jobs@appadvice.com.  Make sure to mention that you are interested in the "App List" position.  Thanks!
