Earlier today, iPhone Dev-Team member @MuscleNerd posted a couple of screenshots taken on a jailbroken iPhone 4S handset, stating that this was a preliminary solution and that there was "lots of work left." Now, the Dev-Team's most vocal member has uploaded a YouTube video in which the aforementioned jailbreak solution is demonstrated on an iPad 2 running iOS 5.
It would appear that the relaunch of JailbreakMe is imminent. After updating the website several days ago, @comex has altered the appearance of http://jailbreakme.com once again: The website now displays an Apple Online Store sticky note, stating: “We’ll be back soon.”
A private beta tester of Comex' upcoming JailbreakMe online jailbreak solution appears to have leaked the PDF, which allows users to jailbreak an iPad 2 running iOS 4.3.3.
For those curious, Chronic Dev Team is continuing to work "diligently" on jailbreaking Apple's second generation iPad, according to key team member @p0sixninja. Despite the minor announcement (which was posted to Twitter), no release date has been hinted at.
The Chronic Dev Team has recently updated its fans on the status of a variety of different things, in a blog post titled: "State of the Chronic." In the post, team member bile discusses the iPad 2 jailbreak efforts, greenpois0n support for iOS 4.3 and merchandise.
