Still slow scrolling, but better

I wrote a review a few months ago, that the new version or what you did basically made the app inoperable on my old iPhone 8. I could barely scroll or click on any news links which then basically froze my phone.

Now checking back on it a week ago, it seems like some of the issues have been worked on. Scrolling is still jerky, for instance you’ll go to scroll down and nothing happens, then a couple of seconds later it will scroll down. It still seems to slow down my phone, which is still an iPhone 8. Maybe you’re pictures or the amount of data you’re including on each link has increased. You guys still aren’t there, or back to the smooth ease of use as the prior version. I upped you guys from a 1 star to a 3. I’m happy that I can at least now read the content of the stories, which is still great.

Very Sluggish

The latest update (4.0.3) does NOT fix the problem where the app is such a resource hog that it renders the whole iPhone sluggish and nearly unresponsive.

Recently unresponsive

The app has been a great source of news for years but recently has become unusable due to very slow scrolling and long delays opening clicked articles. Even trying to quit the app now takes forever as it seems to be in a battle with the phone over resources.
