The "Try it for Free" section currently features four apps.

First spotted by 9to5Mac, the “Try it for Free” section is available to view in the Apps tab of the App Store on your iPhone or iPad.

Currently, there are four apps being promoted in the section – 1Password, USA Today, Lake: Coloring Books, and Panna: Video Recipes.

Apple also details the free available trial period for each. Selecting the “See Details” button will detail how long you can try the app and the subscription price.

If you do take advantage of a trial and decide not to subscribe, you’ll need to cancel before the timeframe ends so you won’t be charged. Take a look at this Apple support document for the complete instructions.
