Apple is Bringing Lossless Audio to the Entire Apple Music Catalog

Big changes are coming to Apple Music next month, all for free.

Apple just announced that subscribers will soon be able to listen to more than 75 million songs in Lossless Audio. With the Apple Lossless Audio Codec, you’ll hear every part of the original audio file.

The service will also offers Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos. The feature will be turned on by default for all AirPods and Beats headphones with an H1 or W1 chip. You’ll also hear the Spatial Audio on the latest versions of iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

There will be a specially curated set of Dolby Atmos playlists and you’ll be able to see albums with a special badge on the detail page.
