CooTek's TouchPal Keyboard App Updated With AI Assistant Talia
Back in June, we reviewed a great third-party option to Apple’s stock keyboard – TouchPal Keyboard. The app has recently added a big dose of smart with its new update.
For those who don’t know TouchPal Keyboard, it provides upgraded features from your existing iOS device keyboard by offering predictive text and swipe typing options. The swiping feature allows you to type with just one hand by gliding over the letters. It even helps you to avoid embarrassing typos.
If that wasn’t enough, thanks to this new update, the app now features Talia, an Artificial Intelligence personal assistant that offers several great new ways to use the already hugely popular keyboard app.
Useful Grabbing Feature
First, you can now grab useful information including emails, links, and phone numbers directly from the clipboard. All it takes is a few clicks and you can add them straight into your messages, avoiding the hassle of having to trudge through long messages and pick them out.
Emoji Predictive Feature
Emoji fans will be happy to hear that Talia can also predict relevant emojis based on your texts. So, whether your messages are tinged with tears of anger or laughter – the app will know and predict which ones to use accordingly. You can also access over 1,500 emojis by holding the enter key as well.
Easier to Search for Information While Using the App
It’s now easy to search and share information without needing to leave the app too. For instance, if you’re looking for a specific news article or fact to share with your friends you can do it with no need to switch awkwardly between apps.
Swipe Texting and AI Engine
Along with these features, the app offers swipe typing that makes it easier to type without lifting your fingers from the keyboard. This feature “helps make sure that you stay error-free” in your texting, as we said in our review.
It also provides smart predictions via award-winning AI technology. It actually learns your unique writing style and adapts its predictions accordingly.
Cool Themes
There are an impressively wide range of fun themes available, which allows you to customize your keyboard however you wish. You can choose from existing images or add in your own picture from your own photo collection.
