July 24, 2019

The weather app with an attitude, Carrot Weather, has just received a nice update with a number of new iPad features and more.

Even More Improvements

Even More Improvements

On the iPad, the app now supports both the Split Screen and Side Over multitasking modes so you can check the weather while using another app at the same time.

There are also a number of new keyboard shortcuts and a refreshed design on the tablet.

Anyone with a Tier 3 subscription can also take advantage of automatic foreground refreshed on the tablet so the weather conditions will remain current with the app always pulled up.

Both iPhone and iPad users with a Tier 1 membership or more can view improved severe weather notifications that show more information.

The app’s iCloud sync and restore is also getting even better. You can sync app settings, saved locations, weather stations, and secret locations between devices.

Also, it’s possible to restore all of the apps settings from individual device backups. That can be done during app setup or the iCloud section in Carrot Weather’s settings.

Subscribers to Tier 2 and above can view air quality alerts and improved weather maps.

Designed for the iPhone and all iPad models, Carrot Weather can be downloaded now on the App Store for $4.99.

In-app purchases can unlock different premium tiers and additional features.
