If you love to post and view photos on Twitter, then you are in for a treat. Soon you will be able to add nifty stickers to your images to make them really stand out. And that is not all, because the stickers you can select from will also be searchable. So, for a new way to get creative and share awesome photos on Twitter, get ready for some sticker fun.

Over the next few weeks, the new sticker feature will be rolling out to iOS users, as well as Android. Tweeters will also be able to view and click stickers on Twitter.com. The stickers will be part of the other photo editing options available from Twitter when posting an image. So, you will be able to crop, tag, and plop a sticker right on your photo before sharing it.

Aside from adding stickers to make your photos more enjoyable, those stickers will also be searchable, which is a great feature. Anyone searching a sticker that you use will see your photo and vice versa. This means that they will work just like the hashtags you are familiar with now.

From Sasank Reddy, senior product manager for Twitter:

Soon, you can browse our rotating sets of stickers to join in on real-time conversations, and select from the library of hundreds of accessories, emoji, and props to make your photos more fun. Use them to share what you’re doing or how you’re feeling, to show support for a cause, or to just add some flair. You can use multiple stickers on a photo, resize and rotate them, and place them anywhere on your picture.
