When she kicks her soldiers into battle, she’s not sending them off with a firm farewell. She literally backs up, gets a running start, and boots them in the bum to send them flying through the air. You control the direction and strength of her kick by pulling back on the first soldier in line.

When you pull back, a large blue arrow will appear and tell you how high or low your soldier will fly. Pulling back further will make the princess kick the soldier harder. You can allow your soldier to collide with the monster, or you can tap on the soldier while he’s in the air to perform a special ability.

There are several different types of soldiers that you have in your party. There are the warriors, knights, archers, and mages when you first begin playing. There are more soldiers that you can unlock. Each of the different types of soldiers has a unique special ability.

Since they have a different special ability, it might be advantageous to have different types of soldiers go first. Unlike Angry Birds, where the different types of birds is already determined, you can rearrange the order of the soldiers. On the left side of the screen, you can see a lineup of the soldiers. This game is packed with different features. There’s a social aspect where you can invite other players to be part of your team. You can use the tickets you earn at the end of each level to win rare items. You can upgrade different soldiers, and you can equip items to help you in battle.

There are in-app purchases. You can buy those tickets that you earn at the end of each level. You can buy 10 for $0.99 or 2,000 for $99.99. It takes 10 tickets to try to win a rare item. These tickets will select items randomly, so there’s no guarantee that you’ll get one that is useful to you.
