Background information on the company:
Founded in 1952, AKA is a specialist institution being active in the sector of international short-term-, medium-term- and long-term trade finances. The bank, based in Frankfurt (Main), also acts as a service provider for the administration of especially ECA covered financing operations next to the credit business. As a complementary institute, the AKA is primarily supporting the 18 shareholder banks – and thus indirectly the exporters they attend to – as well as their foreign partners – in the realization and optimization of international trade finance. Moreover, AKA is acting as a forum for discussing and developing fundamental issues in international financing matters.
