Patrick is a judge on the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas in Pennsylvania. Patrick was first elected to the court in 2003. She was retained in 2013 for a term that expires in 2023. Patrick ran for a seat on the Pennsylvania Superior Court in 2017.

She was defeated in the primary election on May 16, 2017. Patrick received her bachelor's degree in political science from Bennett College and her J.D. from Texas Southern University Thurgood Marshall School of Law. Until her election to the common pleas bench, Patrick spent her legal career in private practice. Patrick received a rating of "highly recommended" from the Pennsylvania Bar Association. Patrick was retained to the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas with 80 percent of the vote on November 5, 2013. Patrick ran for election to the Pennsylvania Superior Court. She was defeated by Vic Stabile in the primary election on May 17, receiving only 34.6% of the vote. Patrick has been rated as Recommended by the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
