From 1 April to 26 July 2015, the Fondazione Roma Museo - Palazzo Cipolla will be presenting an ambitious cultural operation centred on the Barocco a Roma (Baroque in Rome) exhibition.
The exhibition explains briefly and clearly the way Baroque art evolved, from its creation in the first two decades of the 1600s to its point of "explosion" under Pope Urban VIII, and continues with the attention paid by Pope Alexander VII Chigi to town planning, giving Rome a new "face".
The app offers free contents with information on the exhibition, the works, events and practical info. Use the Favourites function to customise your visit by saving events, works and contents in your personal dashboard.
The app provides users with information on Palazzo Cipolla, including interactive maps showing how to get there, and all the satellite events that are part of the initiative: themed tours, further exhibitions and itineraries through the sites that best represent the Baroque in Rome.
Contents are available in both Italian and English, and can be shared on the main social networks.
