Electrical Trades people, estimators and Engineers will find the cable jerker an invaluable field tool in assisting cable size selection and gland selection. Covering Power and control Cables in PVC, Steel Wire Armoured or XLPE. Basic Converstions (kw-amps etc) are accessed through the app assisting the user to then select the correct cable. Voltage Drop Calculations are available before the user then goes on to select the correct gland for the cable. The App goes further to collate the information into a cable schedule and a Bill of Materials. The Bill of Materials compiles a complete list of materials including all cables, glands, shrouds and lugs required for the project. Both the Cable Schedule and Bill of Materials can then be emailed back to the office in an excel spreadsheet.
