App Store Description

Car Theft Worldwide is on the increase, almost all vehicles manufactured since 2001 have some form of Engine Immobilisation built into the Vehicles Engine Management System, however any OE (Factory Fitted Immobiliser) system is useless when the thief has the original Vehicle Key and or Remote Transmitter. The modern Thief has total control of the vehicle when they steal the Ignition Key and or Vehicle Remote Transmitter, the Cyclops BlueTooth Immobiliser (BTI) is a product manufactured to combat this exact for of Car Theft! The BTI is a “Secondary” form of Immobiliser for the New and Used Car, this “Wired In” system is professionally installed, the System Auto Arms (Passive Arming) 10-20 seconds after the ignition is turned off.
The disarming of the BTI is via a Bluetooth connection between the BTI Module (Wired and hidden within the vehicle wiring behind the dash) and the vehicle owners Smart Phone and of course the Cyclops BTI App. Once the BTI is paired with the owners Smart Phone a Thief can no longer steal the vehicle with the original Ignition Key and or Remote transmitter, let's call it “Two Factor Verification” for Motor Vehicles.
Disarming options for the BTI by the Smart Phone is by one or more of the following conditions being met:

- Smart Phone with the BTI App
- Valet Mode for Vehicle servicing or Valet Parking
- Finger Scan Recognition on the BTI App
- Face Scan Recognition on the BTI App
- Passcode on the BTI App
- Walk up walk away Passive disarming i.e. When the BTI Module sees the Smartphone within range (Selectable from the App) of the BTI Module the System disarms and allows the vehicle to start.

With Passive disarm selected the App must simply remain open in the background of the Smart Phone

Note: With all of these above, the systems disarms allowing the vehicle to be started, if the vehicle is not started within 30 seconds of disarming and or not seeing the Smart Phone in range the system will rearm thus never leaving the vehicle in a “Go” condition.

An Emergency Override Remote transmitter is also provided should the Connected Smart Phone not be available or have a Bluetooth failure. This Emergency Remote Transmitter is not a simple 1 press disarm Transmitter, it has a “Special” press sequence code the user must know to disarm the system thus maintaining the highest security possible. This information forms part of the User Instructions and we encourage customers to keep this information hidden and a secret to only them and trusted users of their vehicle
