Derby Ram Trail

Follow the trail of the 30 AR rams, threading through Derby city centre.

Each ram was designed and decorated by a different well-known or emerging artist, creating a multi-coloured spectacle throughout the city. The virtual trail, as a legacy to the project, will appeal to young and old alike and encourages both residents and visitors to have fun exploring and be inspired and enchanted by the sculptures with the added fun of now being able to take the virtual rams home once collected! The Virtual Derby Ram Trail is perfect for a walking tour of Derby city centre.

On the 9 September 2021, each of the rams was auctioned off. Together with the match funding grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, this helped raise a phenomenal £300,000 for Derby Museums’ Endowment, helping secure the future of Derby Museums for everyone for years to come. Derby Museums would like to thank all the sponsors, artists, collaborators for helping bring the trail to Derby and also everyone who supported us so generously through the project.
