App Store Description

An iOS app tool for extracting trending data from Twitter then using word clouds to display your results based upon your own specific search criteria. Drill down to discover hidden content. Far quicker than reading all those you follow.

A powerful and easy way to map your own Twitter trends using sophisticated keyword searches. Results presented as easy to read word clouds so you can see at a glance what potentially thousands of people are saying. Compare different time periods, drill down or read underlying tweets. See how issues change over time and get up to the moment real time information. Big Data in the palm of your hand. Spot a trend, a threat or an opportunity before it becomes mainstream. DigR - the power to act fast.

Additional features:

- choose 10 words to get the headlines or 25, 50, 75 or up to 100 to see the full story.

- See a word that you want to dig deeper, then touch the screen, and select the word from the alphabetical list. Add it to the search to dig one level down. Continue until you have homed in on the one or two relevant tweets.

- Remove irrelevant tweets with the "-" operator. E.g "Apple -harvest" to focus on the company not the fruit.

- choose your time period; this hour only or go progressively back to gather tweets from a maximum of 7 days old.

- interested in honest sentiment? Show individual R rated words or have them summarised into a G rated "?#@"&%!" string using the "group profanity" on/off switch.

- change font and select your favourite colour palette to maximize your readability and comprehension.

- email results (with or without supporting underlying tweets), or save as image, view underlying tweets (including their links to articles, pictures, video, etc), or simply post your findings to Twitter or Facebook.

Benefits:

- see how your company or product is being talked about.

- examine competitors, or effects of marketing efforts, or events. Are people talking about you? What are they saying?

- investigate a fast moving event or issue (news, sport or weather item for example)

- track market sentiment on a stock, company or investment.

- find out which restaurants, clubs and pubs right now are hot and which are not;

- see how betting trends are shaping up;

- look at real world film reviews;

- examine anything or any subject that might be contained in the hundreds of millions of tweets sent every day.

- This tool will help keep you on top of your world, or even better, one step ahead.
