If you are a person with hearing problems who sleeps at night without hearing aids, some scenarios might cross your mind which can cause you some worries:

- What if there is a fire/flood and I don't hear the alarm?
- What if my child is crying and I don't notice it?
- What if my partner gets sick, falls or calls for help?

There are some options out there that require special equipment or that are based on vibrations, but you can't bring them everywhere with you.

What we want to do with eezySoundDetector is to give you the possibility to sleep knowing that if any sort of noise occurs, you will still be notified. The app listens permanently the environment around you and if a noise above the threshold you set is detected, it will flash the light of your iPhone.

We recommend activating the sound detection and putting your iPhone face down somewhere in the same room as you. We also suggest using the app while your phone is connected to its charger.

The threshold needed for your particular situation will be dependent on your personal needs and can be adjusted easily on the main page.

Note that for the moment the application simply detects noises above a certain threshold, but if the app is a success, we will start working on sound detection to deliver you also the information on what sound has been detected (fire alarm / baby crying / person yelling / door bell / ...). Therefore, please leave us your feedback (positive or negative) and we will make sure to take everything into consideration.
