App Store Description

*** iOS 9 and 10 fully supported

"Nifty Words Standard" is a very fast translator and dictionary for English and German words. It includes English phonetics but no sound (please look at "Nifty Words Pro" for that).

The new history and favorites feature lets you easily keep your peronal terms e.g. for learning.

Beside that, it does not have many functions and screens, but therefore it is simple, fast and comes with a huge word database.

FEATURES:
===========
• no internet connection needed
• over 85000 translations
• more than 120000 full indexed keywords
• English phonetics
• Search history
• Favorites
• automatic search begins with the 3rd entered character
• search button for exact search (e.g. words with 2 characters)
• searches the English and German keywords at once
• shows many translation possibilities
• very fast full-text search, while typing
• iOS 9 and 10 fully supported

Please have also a look at "Nifty Words Pro". It comes with sound and has additional native iPad support.

Tip
====
To get the German Umlaute Ä,Ü,Ö,ä,ü,ö and ß, please touch the keys A,O,U and S on the keyboard a bit longer. That seems to be a not well known iPhone feature.
