ESC or Equitable Stroke Control is a system put in place by the United States Golf Association (USGA) which sets a maximum number of strokes that a player can post on any hole depending on the player's Course Handicap.
ESC Calc is designed to allow golfers to enter their handicap index and the course slope rating. The calculator will show the maximum number of strokes allowed on a hole and the players course handicap.
ESC or Equitable Stroke Control is is used in the US by courses that adhere to the USGA handicap guidelines.
