Not yet known if caloric restriction extends the lives of humans, but is known to be thin, with a Body Mass Index (BMI) of about 21, reduces the incidence of cancer, diabetes, and heart disease.

Many people have taken CR diets to maintain good health and with the hope of prolonging his life. To practice caloric restriction without the risk of nutritional deficiencies, you need to select foods low in calories that provide complete nutrition.

This application present different calorie restriction (1200cal, 1500cal, 1600cal) and two calculators for lose weight.

You may consult both tools to define the ideal weight and how many calories you will burn by a daily activity. This is very helpful because we usually only measure what we burn at the gym equipment but never add the caloric burn derived from these daily activities.

Consult a doctor or dietitian before starting any diet, especially if you take drugs.
