App Store Description

FireSync Ops is your new one-stop operational resource for firefighters from ForceReadiness.com. FireSync Ops consolidates all of the features found in our other operational apps into one easy to use app.

Current Features:

TMAC. Organizes radio frequencies into various zones that the Los Angeles County Fire Department utilizes to communicate between Los Angeles County Firefighters and cooperating agencies. This assists the user by rapidly locating and displaying radio channel information. The user will be able to sort the zones by UHF, VHF, Camps BK,, Camps KNG and 800 mhz frequencies. There are also training materials on how to utilize the radios used by Los Angeles County Firefighters.

Maps. Displays the users current location in relationship to State Responsibility Areas (SRA) and Federal Responsibility Areas (FRA). These areas determine who has primary responsibility for wildland fires. The user can select two different map orientations and choose three different base maps to assist in determining their location with relationship to the SRA/FRAs. In maps you can also view helispots, repeaters, and other GIS layers.

Helispots. Provides locations and vital information relating to the approved helispots used by the Los Angeles County Fire Department. The user will be able to sort the helipots by battalion, proximity, day-use, night-use, and portable tank sites.

GPS. Display your current latitude and longitude in multiple formats.

MDC. Provides common commands specifically used for the Los Angeles County Fire Department's Mobile Data Computers (MDC). The user will be able to sort, search and bookmark the various MDC commands.

Resources. Provides instructional references for radios, helispot usage, and MDC.

IRPG. The full Incident Response Pocket Guide is included in an easy to use format that allows you to rapidly access any section.
