Quick Tip: Once loaded, activate the phone's gps by going to phone' s "Settings", "Privacy" "Location Services" -on, and then turn "Georeader"-on

Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
In light of this, we only use less costly location methods unless the device is plugged into external power. When plugged into power, we use GPS, but the app works fine either way. While this approach is helpful, some increased battery draw still occurs whenever background reading of points is enabled.
