What is it about?

During the Roman Empire, the world began to explore the unknown through building materials and architectural marvels that have continued to challenge conventional wisdom. Mortar, curated from volcanic ash, lime, and salt water, binds the structures that manage the flow of the rivers of Rome’s past and present. The framework of these ancient monuments symbolizes the pride of the engineers that once marveled over their inventive masterpieces. Though years have past, the relics of the Roman Empire remain unshaken and are ready to attack trespassers. The battles that were fought around the Watermills of Ancient Persia captured the souls of unknown soldiers and withheld their spirits from being released to the heavens. In the purgatory between what was and what is, there lies a world that had survived and is guarded by the spirits of those who gave their lives and are willing to take yours. For in their world of unrest, there is only the crossing over of the Watermills, between where you are and where you need to be.

As we transition back in time the Watermill ruins are transformed back into the structure’s once glorified state. Through time, we travel back before the human wars, man-made walls, monuments and loss of human life were commonplace. Only the journey over the Watermills will release their spirits to the heavens, but first you must fight your way through the Roman Ghosts and the cubes that they control for they see you as the enemy. Only if you can make it to the third level and capture the Golden Sword will the spirits be freed and your mission will be complete.

Rules:

1. Number one rule, stay out of the acid. It is not the world you come from and acid (not water) is the nectar of life in purgatory and flows as freely as water on earth. If touched, you will lose a life.
2. Follow the rotating green directional donuts to guide you to where you can pick up points and find your way to the time portals.
3. Each game level will have rotating pink donuts to indicate where you can gather points.
4. The clocks will be your time portals, but try to capture all the items identified by the rotating pink donuts to maximize your points first.
5. If you haven’t retrieved all the items identified by the rotating pink donuts, go back and retrieve the remaining items, to maximize your points.
6. Don’t let the Roman Ghosts touch you or you will lose a life. Shoot them in order to delay your death, but be aware, they’re already dead, and they will seek you again.
7. Advance to next level and regain your lives.
