GCS has been available for years on Palm and Windows Mobile platforms. For the first time it is now available in a more intuitive and easier-to-use form for the iPhone and iPod Touch. This is the fastest and most intuitive version of GCS for the iPhone and iPod Touch.
GCS provides physicians, nurses, other healthcare providers, and students quick assessment of Visual, Verbal, and Motor Response, recommended documentation, evidence-based instructions on the proper procedure and documentation, and a cumulative score.
GCS is the only one on iTunes that provides appropriate scoring for clients unable to speak due to dsyphasia or intubation which often not included in other versions of the GCS.
This is also the only Glasgow Coma Scale that provides complete evidence-based instructions for it most valid and reliable use.
