Hidden Honeysuckle

Hidden Honeysuckle is one of five placemaking projects collectively called ‘Honeysuckle Placemaking’. is a research project of the University of Newcastle funded by the state government under the ‘Newcastle Port Community Contribution Fund’ and is a multi-discipline collaboration between the School of Architecture and Built Environment, School of Humanities and Social Science and School of Creative Industries.

The ‘Hidden Honeysuckle’ App explores the hidden stories of the honeysuckle precinct, collating them into an app so they can be enjoyed by those visiting the area. Usage data will be collected and tabulated to identify the affectedness of apps to activate and enhance engagement with place.
