IBM Maximo Safety

The IBM Maximo Safety app works in conjunction with other components of the IBM Maximo Safety solution. The IBM Maximo Safety solution makes it easier to identify and eliminate hazards in your work environment, putting compliance at the center of a safer workplace.

IBM Maximo Safety combines IoT data from wearables, environmental sensors, and other data.

TWO MODES:

• Worker mode allows employees to sync wearables and sensors, which alert them to hazards in the workplace
• Supervisor mode shows where hazard areas exist, and alerts supervisors when workers encounter or approach a hazard

FEATURES:

• Syncs with devices that monitor many aspects of a safer workplace, including high temperature, heart rate, fall detection, no go zones, and more
• Notifications can be set up to provide alerts when potential hazards occur and send alerts to supervisors and others who are responsible for monitoring workplace safety
• Transmits sensor data to the cloud, so it can be aggregated and analyzed by other components in the solution to identify safety trends
• Lists the policies that are set up by companies to protect workers
• Shows the potential hazards that occurred in the current shift based on policies defied by the companies
• Lists the workers who are currently active
• Shows a live map of the recent hazards
