iSLX free is the free lite version of the native client iSLX portable for Sage SalesLogix. Both versions have the same functions the difference between iSLX free and iSLX portable are that some of the informations in accounts, contacts, opportunities, sales orders, etc. will not be shown. In iSLX free you can for example see the informations from address 3, city, postalcode, county, country,etc. but not the informations of address1 and addres2 and the integrated google maps application will only show you the address3, city, county, etc. Feel free to visit www.islxportable.com/free to see screenshots which shows the difference between the two versions. iSLX portable will give you the full informations.

With iSLX free you can natively access your data directly from your iPhone/iPod touch. All you need is a internet connection and in addition a standard SData v.7.5.2 installation, which needs to be reachable from the internet.

Use the native functions of the iPhone (Call Numbers, send mails, Open addresses in Maps) directly from the interface (some functions are only available on the iPhone).

HINT for setting up iSLX free:

Please just type the ip or the dns-name of the reachable sdata server without "http(s)://" and port number in the "Server-URL Textfield".

- Load/Show more then 100 results for every available search (Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, SalesOrders, Histories/Notes, Activities, Addresses, etc.)
- iOS 4-compatible with multitasking. If you use iOS4 you can run the application parallel to other applications. You can for example leave the application, start another application and go back to iSLX portable and go on were you left.
- Mail-, Safari-, and Maps-Integration into the iSLX portable App. Now you do not need to leave the application anymore if you want to write a Mail, view a Website or look for a Address (But you still can leave the application if you want to).
- Call dialog let you choose between call or send SMS
- Numbers will be blue colored if the device is a iPhone
- All Email-addresses and URLs will be blue colored
- "Contact Us"-Section for feedback,bugreport,help,etc... now in the settings view
