King's Corners is a strategic card game combining solitaire and traditional card games. The objective is to be the first player without cards in your hand. Therefore you can play cards into a series of foundation piles arranged in the shape of a cross. The game is easy to learn but offers depth and challenge as you work to clear the board by arranging cards in a specific order.

The game is played with a standard deck of 52 cards, the board consists of four foundation piles in the centre, resembling the cardinal directions and four corner spots. At the start of the game, the board has four foundation piles with one card each, the remaining cards are kept in a draw pile and each player starts with a hand of 7 cards.

The goal is to move all the cards from your hand onto the board in descending order, alternating colours (red and black), with Kings placed in the corner spots. You win when you play all your cards on the board. You finish your move by drawing a card from the deck or skipping when the deck is empty.

How to play King's Corners:
Play Cards:
On your turn, you can play as many cards as you want from your hand to the piles. Thereby your card has to have an opposite colour and must be valued one point lower than the top card on the pile. In the corner spots, you can only place kings at the beginning. After a king is in his corner, it works like an additional pile.
Merge Piles:
On your turn, you can merge piles according to the rules of the card placement. That means you can put one pile on top of another if its bottom card is valued one point lower and of alternating colour, than the top card of the other pile. The king pile can't be moved.
Finishing your turn:
If you don't want to place any more cards or can't place any more cards, you have to withdraw a card from the deck in the middle, signalling, that your move is over. If there are no remaining cards in the middle you can skip by tapping in the middle.

The game ends when the first player runs out of cards.
