Welcome to KLAY@Home - a comprehensive online learning experience from the house of KLAY - India's largest chain of preschools. KLAY@Home aims to bring the real classroom experience home and has a blend of live video lessons and recorded activities that could be completed offline. The learning platform is easy-to-use and has all features - live sessions (via Teams), learning resources, and assessments - all in one place. The gamified content is aligned to the world-class KLAY curriculum which takes a play-based approach to learning and follows the principle of active screen time which has proven to be effective in achieving learning outcomes for children below 6 years. We are proud to say that in the last one year, we have been able to achieve 100% of the same learning outcomes applicable to physical classrooms, in the online medium as well.

The driving principle of the KLAY Pedagogy is that we nurture and develop a child’s dominant areas of intelligence. We teach the way a child learns the best. This is derived from the Theory of Multiple Intelligences: developed by Dr. Howard Gardner. Basis this theory, we define the different intelligences through which a child learns as below:

What the child learns at KLAY will fall under these below 5 domains: Creative Expression, Language and Literacy, Math & Logic, Physical, Social and Emotional Development, and General Awareness. The children are taught these essential early years skills by an army of world-class teachers who are passionate and dedicated to providing a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment for children.



Here's a breakdown of the offerings -


LEARNING

*Learn@Home (2 - 6 years) - Year-long, intensive, live program that allows the child to interact with their peers and teachers, thereby replicating the real classroom experience. Spanning the entire academic year, classes run on all 5 days of the week for a duration of 1 - 2 hours depending on the child's age group.
*Learn@Home Compact (3 - 6 years): As the name suggests, this is a more compact version of our flagship online program. With 2 classes a week, the live sessions focus on Language, Math, and EVS, and are primarily teacher-led. An exhaustive home learning plan and an anecdotal learning summary is included.
*Recorded activities - The app also has a repository of recorded preschool lessons and several worksheets that can be done offline to keep the child engaged. These are available via subscriptions of any of the above learning formats.
ASSESSMENTS

The platform has a comprehensive, easy-to-follow assessment mechanism that tracks the child's age-wise development milestones. Considering the remote learning format, our curriculum experts will intervene to evaluate this on a term-wise basis with parents facilitating the entire process. The depth of assessments will depend on the nature of the program.

PARENT SUPPORT

Parents will have access to our child psychologists and family counsellors through informational videos via the app. The expert network will also be available on demand and will deal with parent challenges on a one-on-one basis.
