leagiON’s Decentralized Autonomous League (DAL) platform connects golf players of all levels and provides them the tools to organize and participate in games and tournaments. Champions can earn DAL tokens and status in the leagiON ecosystem.
DAL uses Stellar Distributed Ledger Technology to help players find their peers to participate in a fun outdoor activity, promote fair play, and build a strong healthy community. Participants can filter and find players of similar skill levels in their geographic area and invite them for a round of golf on the local course for as little as 1 DAL token per player. All tokens are collected in a virtual game pot prior to the game and distributed to the winner. Winners are determined by consensus of all players after each fills out a scorecard within the leagiON Golf app.
The game token is an essential part of the DAL ecosystem and economy. As utility tokens, DAL can be acquired through the public token sale, from another system participant via a transfer, or through winning competitive matches. Users have the ability to acquire DAL tokens on Stellar Decentralized Exchange for Stellar Lumens (XLM) or other major cryptocurrencies.
