What is it about?

The Mindful Awareness Resilience Skills Training, MARST, App will give you grounding in essential mindfulness skills to train your mind to think resiliently, open your heart, and calm your body. Mindfulness is simply bringing your attention to the present experience on a moment-to-moment basis. This practice allows you to recognise your thoughts and feelings and make skilful and appropriate responses for health, improved relationships & happiness. The MARST app offers mindfulness training to cultivate greater inner wisdom and resilience so you can flourish at university, school, work and at home. You will receive training in the ABC of Mindfulness on how to respond vs. react to stressful situations. Each day you will receive one 10 minute lesson and guided practice from the founder of MARST, Dr Aileen Pidgeon, an experienced mindfulness teacher and clinical psychologist. Start your journey to learn how “being with” increases your inner resilience so that you can surf through the ups and downs of life with ease. With the MARST app, you can access each lesson at any time and anywhere on your mobile device, and continue to visit your favourites long after the initial 7 days of training are over.
