The MindQ tool screens for mild cognitive impairment and dementia. MindQ has to be completed by individuals familiar with, and preferably, living with the elderly person, who is being assessed.
Although MindQ does not provide a diagnosis, it does identify potential problems that can then be brought up to a medical professional. MindQ is to be used for informational and educational purposes only, and is not intended to constitute medical advice or be a substitute for professional diagnosis and treatment.
