Moana: Rhythm Run is the official tie-in mobile game of Disney's "Moana," a computer-animated film about a young woman's epic journey with the legendary demigod Maui. It's a rhythm-based game where players guide Moana and her pals on their adventure by tapping to the beat of songs from the movie's soundtrack.

Travel across worlds. Adventures on land, sea, and beyond await in Moana: Rhythm Run, with more than 70 levels across different worlds to complete. Watch out for tricky obstacles and fearsome beasts!

Journey with Moana and friends. Even though the game's title includes only her name, Moana is far from the sole playable character in Moana: Rhythm Run. There's also Maui, the legendary demigod. And you'll also journey with Heihei, Pua, and other familiar faces from the film.

Adventure to the beat. As in any other rhythm-based game, timing is key in Moana: Rhythm Run. Tap the two buttons at the right times, based on the visual cues as well as on the beat of the soundtrack, to guide Moana on her epic quest to fulfill her destiny.

What is it about?

In the game, you have to help Moana fulfill her quest of restoring the heart of the island goddess Te Fiti. To that end, in each level of the game, Moana, Maui, or perhaps another character from the film runs, sails, or otherwise moves automatically across the side-scrolling screen. Along the way are various obstacles and enemies that you have to dodge and get rid of. To do that, you need to tap the right buttons at the right times, in accordance with the rhythm of the music.

"Moana" is another superb Disney animated film, and Moana: Rhythm Run is another splendid Disney mobile game. The game takes the adventure story at the core of the film along with the music that is the lifeblood of the soundtrack and then uses them to great effect. And since this is Disney, it goes without saying that the visuals are wonderful.
