For the diabetes version the food scores are scaled based on the glycemic index of each food item. In the healthy version the food scores are scaled based on nutrition, ingredients, and processing. The right choices for the different food items give higher scores in the game.

The food indices are only estimations based on scientific publications and databases and can vary.
