U.S. Figure Skating, the premier source for all things figure skating, has teamed up with Rink Tank Interactive to bring you the ' U.S. Figure Skating Skate Coach' app series for iOS!

The Skate Coach app series was designed to help skaters, parents, instructors and officials understand the standards set for the Basic Skills Program through the use of high definition video examples.

The Pairs 1-6 app is designed for skaters who have passed Basic 8 and above. Each team shall consist of a male and a female, and candidates for this curriculum should ideally be of the same test level. SKaters will learn a basic degree of unison, basic lifts, good edges and side by side jumps. NOTE: ALL LIFTS MUST BE TAUGHT OFF ICE BEFORE ATTEMPTING ON ICE!

NOTE - All videos can be played in SLOW_MOTION! Just pause the video once it starts, and then hold down the fast forward button or the reverse button and VOILA! This is a little known trick in iOS! Enjoy!

Whether in the comfort of your own home, traveling to the rink or during practice, you will always have a Skate Coach in your pocket!
