About the book:
A mother prepares a lovely, golden pancake, but before she can feed it to her children, the pancake jumps from the pan out into the world. The pancake meets many animals, hungry to eat him and he outruns them all. Finally he meets a pig who outsmarts the pancake by giving him a ride across a river-and into the pig's mouth! The story is adapted from a Norwegian folktale, made popular in the 1850s.

Education doesn’t have to be boring. It should be fun! Pickatale was made to improve children’s reading skills, to help them learn about animals, cultures, historical figures and more, and to have fun learning through reading books.
