PlayScore takes traditional music scanning to the next level. It understands all the symbols of standard music notation - articulation, dynamics, even trills, turns and tremolo, and can play all kinds of sheet music and scores directly from a photo

PlayScore is recommended by many top classical musicians including John Lubbock CBE (Orchestra of St John), Ian Brown (Nash Ensemble) and top oboist George Caird.

PlayScore Pro can read scores with systems of many staffs such as SATB vocal scores and chamber music as well as piano music and songs. As well as the device camera you can load pages of music from online sites, or your own scans. PlayScore can save in JPG, MIDI and Music XML.

- Want to hear a song from a book
- Play through a Bach fugue
- Hear your instrumental or voice part (from part or score)

Or just browse through a pile of sheet music? then let PlayScore amaze you!

PlayScore is perfect for musicians from beginner to professional
- play a passage loud or soft, slow or fast
- drag your fingers over bars to loop the music for those tricky passages
- And now, you can play any combination of staffs on their own or together.
- sing or play your solo while PlayScore plays the keyboard accompaniment
- hear any staff, eg the alto part of the tenor with accompaniment or on its own.

Just hold your device up to the music, take a good square-on picture and watch your music come to life as PlayScore plays it right there on the screen, following bar by bar.

PlayScore works in portrait or landscape. It easily handles a whole page at a time and can even pick musical examples out of a book.

PlayScore writes MIDI and MusicXML files for use in virtually any music app.

- Tap the metronome button to change the tempo
- tap any bar to play from there or swipe over a few bars to create a repeat
- tap the staffs icon to select which staffs to play

- photos of screens or screenshots may give poor results

- General: many problems improved by good even light and a square-on image
- Doesn't sound right: try another photo - the better the photo the better the result
- Skips bars: make sure left edge of music parallel with edge of screen, measure lines vertical
- Skips notes: good focus, square-on page
- Result still not right: email us at [email protected]
