To use this app you must register within the app, during this process you must supply some form of (photographed) physical identification. This is to ensure all Drivers are real people and are allowed to legally drive and Riders are also real people.

Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life - Rides uses this to retrieve your location in the background when you close the app to ensure the other users can still see your latest location as required.
